🔬 Blue Snow & UniKL-MFI Validate Nanofluid AQUENE Energy Savings
From July to September 2022, Blue Snow Consulting & Engineering Sdn Bhd partnered with the HVAC Department of Universiti Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia France Institute (UniKL-MFI) for a six-week energy performance validation of our graphene-based nanofluid.
🏫 Real-World Testing at UniKL-MFI
The study was conducted on a 35 RT chilled water system at the UniKL-MFI Laboratory in Bangi, Selangor.
- Phase 1: System operated with conventional water.
- Phase 2: System switched to Blue Snow’s graphene nanofluid (AQUENE).
Data collection and analysis were carried out jointly with UniKL-MFI’s technical team.
⚡ Proven Results
The results showed an average 25% reduction in chiller energy consumption, with savings ranging from 16% to 29%.
This confirms the AQUENE’s ability to:

- ✅ Reduce operational energy use
- ✅ Support carbon reduction initiatives
